This 2nd ‘Bumblebee lookalike’, a Lamborghini Murcielago, was spotted outside the same hotel on the same day as ‘Bumblebee I’, that was featured in yesterday’s post. Both cars were parked at the extreme ends of the same row of parallel parking lots. Talk about coincidence! I think both the drivers probably know each other and they could be at the hotel for high tea.

As usual, both ‘Bumblebees’ attracted attention from passer-bys and many snapped photos of this car too. Usually it takes one individual to start taking photos and very soon, other people will follow suit. I wondered if the other ‘photographers’ were fans of high-end sports cars like me.

What struck me was how much their colors resembled the Transformers movie character - Bumblebee! I guess that the drivers or the owners could be ‘Bumblebee’ fans. After all, it is such a coincidence that the colors of their cars are yellow with black dorsal stripes!

The first time I saw a white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder in person was during the National Day preview in late June 2007. That car was part of a performance there. After that I fell in love with the Lamborghini and I started taking photos of these gorgeous supercars whenever I chance upon them.
My first Lamborghini photos taken in front of Meritus Mandarin Hotel at Orchard Road, over the weekend. My friend and I had just parted ways after an afternoon of window shopping. She passed by this stunning Lamborghini and alerted me. I was just nearby at Ngee Ann City and quickly rushed over to take these shots.
I think it was a dark grey LP-640 but it looked almost black in color because of the late dusk conditions. The photos were taken at around 7.30pm and it was tough getting good shots without the catching the glaring headlights or moving motions of other cars in the background. After multiple shots, I snared these photos with my 1-year old 2-megapixel camera mobile phone!
